A box of strawberries at the Ralph’s across the street from me costs $6.99. An organic box costs $8.99. A bag of super sized chips costs $2.99 and is on sale for $1.99. We are in a drought in California and fresh food is getting increasingly more expensive.

Manufactured foods are cheaper to purchase than fresh foods, period. It’s one of the greatest faults in our food supply system. Thank you for commenting.
